Mrs. Lauzze loves math. She really appreciates the patterns and logic that can be found in the content. And, she loves how everything in mathematics is connected! She’s always good for a math joke – where do mathematicians do their shopping? At the DeciMall! Get it?? Ha ha ha….
Above all, Mrs. Lauzze wants her students to realize that math is a powerful tool. She believes that every student can be “good” at math and even like it, too! Her primary objective is for students to leave her classroom fully prepared for success in high school mathematics.
Mrs. Lauzze is a graduate of Hope College (Holland, Michigan) and a National Board Certified Teacher. She currently teaches seventh grade and eighth grade mathematics in addition to Algebra 1. When she is not teaching, researching, or problem solving, Mrs. Lauzze likes to play softball, craft, and spend time with her dog, Marvin.
