Mr. Torres is currently a 3rd grade bilingual teacher and has taught at Hayt since 2003. He is bilingual in Spanish and English having received his primary and secondary education in Gurrero, Mexico and college education in the U.S. He received a B.A. in History and Education at Loyola University and a Master’s Degree in Language Arts from Northeastern University. An interest in gardening inspired him to cofound Hayt’s environmental club Roots and Shoots in 2006. Other interests also include running, biking and music.
