Program Details & Philosophy

Hayt Boy’s Basketball program is a competitive, developmental basketball experience that provides players with the tools to develop their fundamental team basketball skills as well as individual concepts necessary to take their game to the next level.

Through persistence and commitment, the Hayt coaching staff will teach players values of integrity, respect for self and opponents, selflessness, responsibility, teamwork, tenacity, and leadership. Hayt  Basketball youth program seeks to develop the student athletes’ life skills and personal growth through the sport of basketball.

Positive reinforcement serves as the basis of our coaching philosophy. We are highly competitive and will push our players to be the best that they are capable of and at the end of the day we value team and personal growth over winning. To read more about our program please visit

Girls Volleyball

CPS Supported Program for girls in 7th and 8th Grade.  Student-Athletes participate weekly in practices and games.  Games are played at Warren Park. Organized by Ms. Walsh

Chess Club

If you want to be a good chess player, practicing often and studying strategies and techniques of more masterful players can help you advance. Good chess players have the ability to remember patterns, openings, endgames, tactics, guidelines and can visualize moves ahead and combinations. They can also sit comfortably for many hours and concentrate on an active game. Hayt After school Chess Club offers these skills and may more. Sign up and learn how.

iCook Club

This winter, our chefs-in-training will learn how to make a variety of healthy, delicious and fun recipes including Orange Chocolate Tarts, Zucchini Flat Bread, Avocado Brownies, Asparagus Fries, Veggie Nuggets, Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Danish and more. We will travel across the globe to learn about the cuisine and culture of Mexico, Spain, and Asia. Our little chefs will build on their knowledge of cooking safety and the fundamental cooking techniques including peeling, breading, blending, melting, slicing, dicing, chopping and more.
